As members of ASTPHND, we share many of the same leadership and organizational challenges. Continuing to learn from each other and effect change has always been at the core of our Conference agenda. We have heard repeatedly that one of the best aspects of this conference is the opportunity to share our work experiences and learn from our colleagues. We have taken this feedback to heart and propose to do something a bit different this year.
We have organized this conference agenda to include two sessions in which six of your colleagues will share their specific success stories. Each presentation will include a description of their case followed by a discussion. Our goal is to facilitate sharing and learning around these best practices. You will have the opportunity to attend one or both of these sessions.
The presentations are listed below:
• Creating a Role for Nutrition in Public Health
Preparedness: Linda Peterson [WI]
• Creating Team WIC: A HR Development Approach: Sandy Daubman [WV]
• Creating and Sustaining A 5-a-Day Coaltiion: Diane Beth [NC]
• Developing a Win-Win State-Level Patnertaship for Health School Environments: The Tool That Rules: Shannon Carney-Oleksyk [MI]
